I was passed today by a new Cherokee
WTF I thought to myself, when I saw the rear sway bar
Then to my horror I think I saw coil springs under the rear.

Please tell me it is not true…. Shocked

Thought a similar thing at Camp Coffs one day when the Jeeps were all lined up with the new Jeeps at the front. The new Jeeps bore no resembelance what so ever to the older Jeep lined up behind. I think once you have owned an Xtreme Jeep it is all down hill from here.

I think I will have to take up drinking, to drown my sorrows

I was going to update one day, when the mongrel is old and tired.

We don't want to become like the Range Rover boys, still clinging on to there old, Rangies even though they are very old and had it.

Guess we should feel lucky, XJ's are right in the butter zone now.

We better start buying up all the XJ's we can & store them as replacements for when ours are retired.......The JK is the only Jeep now made with any of the old DNA that has made past Jeeps so great, LIVE FRONT AXLES.........XJ is the LAST X-Treme Jeep with leaf sprung rear-end & perfect length wheel-base for stability in the type of 4wding we do. I just hope the rest of the 4wder's don't realise how good they are & drive the prices up.
